Message from our Patron

I was delighted to be asked to be the Patron of The City of Discovery Charity Concert.

The aim of the biennial fund raising concerts is to help local charities. At the same time, we want to promote local musical talent by giving them the opportunity of performing with leading musicians.

Each concert is the result of months of planning by the Organising Committee and on their behalf I want to thank sincerely the Charitable Trusts and other organisations who help fund this worthwhile venture.

Please support the City of Discovery Charity Concert in any way you can and I look forward to seeing you there.

The City of Discovery Charity Concert

The City of Discovery Charity Concert Limited was set up in 2008 with the purpose of holding a biennial fundraising concert in Dundee to benefit local charities and to inspire our young people by giving them the opportunity to perform with leading professional musicians. The company is a registered charity and its patron is Lorraine Kelly OBE

2013 Concert

This will be held on Saturday 8th June in the Caird Hall. We are delighted to announce that Lesley Garrett and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra will be performing.
